Candy Rosenberg Workshops!

We are pleased to announce that internationally renowned papercrafter Candy Rosenberg is coming all the way from the USA to teach some mixed media album workshops at our store!

Candy is known for her layering, fussy cutting, inking, and painting. Candy's work can be seen in US and Australian magazines, and Candy is currently on the design team for Graphic 45, Vintage Street Market, Imaginarium Designs, and Scrapbook Adhesives. Candy is a certified educator for Ranger Industries, Tattered Angels, as well as the education co-ordinator for Basically Bare, and is also an endorsed educator for Graphic 45 and Copic Markers. As if all that wasn't enough, she also has her own signature line of Vintage Stamps with The Rubber Cafe, and is a contracted die designer for Spellbinders!

Candy will be teaching 2 different workshops at our store in August and we hope you can come along!  Here are the details:

Saturday 13th August - 10am to 1pm - There's No Place like Home - A Wizard of Oz inspired Mixed Media Album. Cost = $90.

In this class we will explore Dorothy's journey to Oz with Graphic45's "The Magic of Oz" collection. We will cut, cover, layer, paint and stamp our way through a fun Basically Bare mixed media album and dress up Dorothy with paper and ribbons! Explore this dimensional album contains canvas, corrugated cardboard, chipboard, policy envelopes to hold your goodies and more. Learn the techniques and style that Candy Rosenberg is known for and when we are all done, you can click your heels and say " there is no place like home."

Saturday 13th August - 2:30pm to 5:30pm - Timeless Memories "The Past" Album - A Steampunk inspired Mixed Media Album. Cost = $90.

Have you been eyeing the Steampunk style that is all the rage right now? It has been around for some time and we have the mother of Steampunk to show us how it is done. We will explore a Basically Bare mixed media album using Graphic 45's "Steampunk Debutante" collection, cogs and gears, ribbon and stamping while learning the style and techniques that Candy Rosenberg is known for. We will be inking, distressing, cutting, curling, stamping our way through "The Past" and creating a heritage album to share those vintage photos in.

Shabby Chic Damask Cards

Hi everyone!

Sarah here to tell you about my upcoming Shabby Chic Damask cards class!

Here's a sneak peek:

In this class I will teach you a new emboss resist background technique using the brand new Damask Background stamp from Darkroom Door.

We will use the backgrounds to create 4 Shabby Chic cards, featuring gorgeous vintage buttons from The Girl's Paperie, as well as quote stamps from Tim Holtz.

Here are the dates and times:

Saturday 18th June 2011 - 10:30am - 12:30pm (2 hours).

OR

Tuesday 21st June 2011 - 10:30am - 12:30pm (2 hours).

Class cost $30 (includes kit).

We'll have lots of fun stamping, embossing, painting, ripping, and inking!

Pages 2 Scrap ATC Swap!

Hi everyone!

We're hosting our very first open ATC swap, and we've love for you to take part!

The criteria for this swap will be the colours Red, White, and Black, and you must use a metal element somewhere!

If you are interested in playing along, please send an email to store@pages2scrap.com.au by close of business on the 10th of June to sign up.

Here is everything you need to know:

* Please make 9 ATC's. Each ATC must feature all three colours of Red, Black, and White - and feature some sort of meteal element.

* Please make sure that all 9 ATC's are the same - and number them on the back with 1 of 9, 2 of 9 etc.

* You are free to use whichever stamps, embellishments, products etc that you like.

* Please send them in a 9 slot ATC sheet like this one here:

We have plenty of these in store if you need them and they are $1.10 each. (Only 88 cents with your member discount!).

These can be sent flat in a large envelope, or folded in 3 to fit in a smaller envelope. Please make sure if you send them flat that you include some cardboard for support so they don't get crushed in the mail.

* Please put the ATC that you want to keep in the top left hand corner slot. You will receive one ATC of your own back, and 8 ATC's from other swappers.

* Please make sure that your details are on the back of your ATC's - i.e name, contact, etc etc.

* Australian players - Please include a stamped, self addressed envelope in with your ATC's - the same size and postage that you use to send them to us.

* International players are welcome! Please email us to sort out return postage.

* You can drop your ATC's to us in store, or you can also mail your ATC's to the following address:
